Corbin Edward Anderson, 66, of Plano, TX, passed away on September 22, 2020 at Richardson Methodist Medical Center. Born December 23rd, 1953 in Ashtabula, OH, he was the son of Edward and Sara Anderson.
A 1971 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, TX, Corbin went on to graduate with a degree in Business Administration at the University of North Texas in 1976. After graduation, he began a career in sales for U.S Electric Motors and finished his career in sales with Abloy Security. Beyond his professional career, Corbin was a devout husband, father, and grandfather.
Corbin was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Sara Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Genie Anderson of Plano, TX; their four children, Sara Clanahan and her husband Sean, Joseph Anderson and his wife Kelli, Katie Anderson, Josh Anderson; his grandchildren Holly Clanahan, Grace Clanahan, and Elinor Anderson; his siblings Kitty McIntire and her husband Ben, Karen Zecher and her husband Jack.
A private celebration of Corbin’s life will be held by immediate family.

Corby and I rushed the same fraternity together and our friendship grew stronger during our freshman college school year. I didn’t see him much in later years and always wondered where he settled down. I was shocked that both he and I lived in the same suburban city and never knew it or ever ran into each other.
