CARLOS VENTURA SANDOVAL

Carlos Ventura Sandoval, age 64 of Lucas, Texas, went to heaven on July 7, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Carlos was born on June 20, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas, a son of Ventura and Stella (Fulton) Sandoval. He was a devoted and loyal son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, who never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Ventura Sandoval and Stella Fulton Sandoval, as well as many uncles and aunts. Carlos had a very long and fulfilling career in the oil and gas industry where he met many of his lifelong friends and associates. He had a passion for music, comics, pop culture, playing cards, board games, going to the casinos and traveling. He is survived by two brothers, James Sandoval, Bob Sandoval (spouse-Connie) and one sister Mary Fuentes (spouse-Louis). Many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, whom he loved dearly. Girlfriend, Frances Ooten, along with many friends and family who showed much love and support during his long battle.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Sparkman Richardson Funeral Home, located at 1029 S. Greenville Avenue, Richardson, TX 75081.
